Terri Browning
International Visitor Program Manager
So lovely to meet you today! Below is my bio… short and sweet ;)
A University of Georgia graduate, Terri commissioned in the US Army as a Signal Officer in 2001, and did a total of 13 years in the military, as well as 21 years as a military spouse. She served as the Battalion Adjutant during a 15 month deployment to Iraq during Operation Iraq Freedom I, and also spent time as a Signal Platoon Leader, Battalion Comms Officer, CyberWatch Officer, and Public Affairs Officer. Her service provided her the opportunity to live in Germany, Japan, and throughout the US, as well as visit over 30 countries. In each country, she actively coordinated events with local nationals, and interacted with local national dignitaries. Each experience provided invaluable insight into different cultures, values, and world outlooks.
During each move with the military, she would expand her personal growth by tackling different academic and professional endeavors. She received her Masters in Education in 2010, and taught high school full time while living in Hawaii for four years. Upon her next move, she obtained a Masters in English with 'Outstanding Graduate' honors, and taught on the collegiate level in person and online. While in Japan, she was able to work with the Girl Scouts of the USA as a Finance Associate that oversaw the Overseas programs located in Italy and Japan, as well as serve as the Membership Chair and Scholarship Chair with the Zama Community Spouse Association in Camp Zama, Japan.. The diversity of her experiences immediately elevated her abilities to serve clients as a Real Estate Advisor with the global brand Engel & Völkers.
She is elated to be starting her new position as the International Visitors Program Manager, and is passionate about the international community, and being able to share her love of the world with them.
